Hello! My name is Michelle Foster, but you can call me Foss or Foster. Originally from the Lower Mainland, I made Fort St. John my home in 2014 after earning a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of British Columbia.

For the past decade, I’ve proudly served the local community as a dental hygienist, gaining experience in private dental practices and hygiene clinics. Driven by a passion for improving oral health, I founded Fostering Smiles to meet the unique needs of our community. With a blend of practical expertise and a commitment to lifelong learning, I stay at the forefront of dental science to provide safe, personalized dental-grade teeth whitening and dental hygiene services.

At Fostering Smiles, I believe in treating every client with respect and tailoring care to their individual needs. Compassion, open-mindedness, and integrity guide my approach, ensuring your autonomy always comes first. My goal is to build trusting, long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

In 2024, I was honored to receive the People's Choice Award for Best Dental Hygienist in the Peace Region—a testament to the support of the incredible community I’m privileged to serve.

When I’m not fostering smiles, you’ll often find me enjoying life in the great outdoors with friends, family, and pets. Whether it’s camping, hiking, curling, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing, I love making the most of all seasons—and occasionally relaxing by a cozy fire.
